The JTPTrust Director, Janice Thompson, is to make a PowerPoint presentation at the AICI Singing Teachers Conference in Mantua, Italy, this week-end, on the topic of ‘Working with the Young Developing Voice’.

As part of her presentation, Janice will be showing the DVD of ‘Boys with Changing Voices’ which she originally made with Boys at the JTPTrust in Swindon in 2007  and continues to update.

The video charts the development of  boys voices through the voice change between the ages of 11 and 16 and was originally shown at the 2007 conference of the  Association of Teachers of Singing (AOTOS).

This DVD has proved a valuable teaching resource and for 7 years Janice and the Boys have  annually presented this video at the AOTOS Teacher Training Course.            

Janice, who is presently Chairman of AOTOS, has also presented participatory workshops on young voices for the BVA and Eurovox, in Munich.
