The JTPTrust is an educational charity whose aim is to promote, improve, develop and maintain standards of singing in the Swindon area. Our Founding Patron was the internationally recognised singing teacher Mollie Petrie (1920-2016) who honoured us with her support for our many projects and achievements during her lifetime.

Any adult can become a Friend of the Trust or donate to us.

When a child joins Academy classes, parents are welcomed as Friends of the JTPTrust for the length of time that their child attends lessons. The Trust is managed by a small Team of Trustees, all of whom have close links with educational and charitable causes. All Classes and events are organised by the Director, Janice V Thompson, and delivered by a team of inspirational teachers. Janice is also a Past Chair of the Association of Teachers of Singing (AOTOS).

The Trust has a full and comprehensive list of downloadable policies. All policies are annually reviewed, the last update being in 2018.
