‘Nursery Rhymes with a Twist’
April 11, 2015 14:00 to 15.00 
Upstairs at the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon, SM1 An hour of originally set Nursery Rhymes by Swindon Community Opera, suitable for adults and children.
The ‘cast’ of singers includes soloists Yvette Cummings and Shaun Holley, JTPTrust Barbershop Quartet ‘A Little off the Top’ , dancer Francesca Lever and 8 year old Poppy Fox-Thompson. Janice Thompson directs, with Jessie Thompson as orchestral manager.
The semi-staged event will include illustrations by local artist Billy Beaumont.
The programme includes settings of 12 Nursery Rhymes by national composer, Geoff Westley. Familiar and favourite characters include, Humpty Dumpty, Dr Foster and Mary and her lamb.
Tickets are £12.50 for adults and £5 for students and children.
