Swindon Community Opera got off to a good start on Sunday with an enjoyable first sing-through of the 25 minute operetta ‘ Not in Front of the Waiter’ By Offenbach Catherine Welch, Bob Hills, Yvette Cummings and John Milford got to grips with the humorous twists and turns of the plot which unfolds ‘under the aspidistra’. The only thing is we need a waiter. Any ideas welcome. We are already looking forward to the performance on Tuesday April 1st in the bar of the Wyvern a Theatre.
