Gillene Herbert, who starred in the Opera North production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s ‘Carousel’ at the Barbican Theatre, London, married co-Opera North chorister Nicholas Butterfield on the 12th July this year. Gillene, the daughter of  the JTPTrust Child Manager, Sue Herbert, is an associate of the Trust and the Assistant Director of the Youth Opera ‘Brunel the Little Man in the Tall Hat’ . Sue Herbert, Gillene’s mother, and the Trust Child Manager, said ‘it was a most joyous day, full of laughter and tears’. The JTPTrust congratulates the happy couple.
