If you plan to enter the Swindon Music Festival, don’t forget to download and fill out your entry forms this week. www.swindonmusicfestival.co.uk. You need one form per class. The closing date for entries is Friday 17 January. The Festival takes place between 20 -29 March At the Arts Centre, Swindon.
If you are entering Junior Classes, this is information you need:
If you are a skilled singer, have been with us for a year or more, and took part in the 2013 JTPTrust Festival, you may like to take part in the Swindon Music Festival. You are eligible to enter 2/3 classes for your age group. Classes you can enter are: the Set Piece for your age, the Songs from the Shows, and (if you are good at singing in tune without the piano) the Folk-Song.
The SMF takes place during the day and parents should accompany their children to the event.
If you would like to enter, please download entry forms at www.swindonmusicfestival.co.uk, fill them in as far as you can, and bring them to Sue to check next Tuesday. Please e-mail if you are unsure of anything. Sue will help you with the final details of the forms before you send them off.
