- The Director and Trustees of the JTP Trust are profoundly saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty the Queen. We remember with deep gratitude her long reign as our Servant Queen and hold her family in our thoughts and prayers at this time.

The Blog
Looking forward to our final preparations for the JTPTrust Festival tonight. Our set pieces, Folk-Songs and Show Songs. Teenage singers are reminded to bring their music for the Recital Class.
What to expect? Last lessons are all about the tiny details.
- Announcing your song (a good way to practise is to sing it, it helps to keep the pace steady)
- The Piano Introduction and the first breath (how you manage this)
- The Final verse ( often this changes mood, the conclusion of an idea)
- The last note (make your last your best)
- The piano postlude (how you manage this)
- revisit the sheet music, paying special attention to the markings and dynamics (you will see something new!)
The JTPTrust Festival takes place on Sunday 15 March, St Barnabas Church, youngest childrens classes at 1.30pm, Middle classes late afternoon, and Senior Classes from 7pm onwards. Spectators are welcome £1 entrance.
